Day 2: Adelaide to
Kangaroo Island
Early morning pick up from your Adelaide hotel or a scenic coach trip to
Cape Jervis to connect with the fast and comfortable ferry for the short
cruise to Kangaroo Island.
On arrival, begin
your full day Seal Bay Discovery coach tour. The first destination is
secluded Stokes Bay on the North Coast. A walk through a rock tunnel will
reveal this pristine beach surrounded by steep hills. After lunch travel
south, for Parndana Wildlife Park, to feed kangaroos and take a guided tour
of this wildlife and bird park. In the afternoon travel on to Seal Bay for a
beach walk with a National Parks Ranger amongst a breeding colony of
Australian Sea Lions. At Clifford's Honey Farm enjoy an informative talk by
the beekeeper, followed by tasting and an opportunity to buy various honey
products. Then visit Emu Ridge, a bush engineered eucalyptus distillery that
makes the most of its environmental resources. Transfer to your overnight
accommodation. In the evening, you can discover Kangaroo Island's Little
Penguins on a guided penguin walk after dark
Day 3: Kangaroo Island to Adelaide

Your
'Remarkably Wild' full day coach tour begins with a visit to Kelly Hill
Caves. A National Parks Ranger will take you deep into the cave to view the
unique limestone formations, created over thousands of years. After lunch,
head on to Flinders Chase National Park, to spend the rest of the afternoon.
Flinders Chase is renowned as a sanctuary for native Australian animals
including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and echidnas. The tour of the Park
will take you to the rugged southern coastline for a walk on Remarkable
Rocks and Admiral's Arch. Remarkable Rocks provide great photographic
opportunities and stunning sea views and Admiral's Arch boardwalk takes you
down a rugged cliff face to reveal this spectacular arch, a natural nursery
and safe haven for playful fur seals which can be seen swimming or
sheltering and resting on the rocks. Next, something different with a visit
to Island Pure Sheep Dairy, a unique and enterprising farm. Here you will
have an opportunity to observe sheep being milked and sample delicious
yoghurts and various cheeses. Your adventure ends at the air or ferry
terminal for your return journey to Adelaide.
