DAY 1 : Sydney
Travel to Sydney. The start of your action packed 30-day Australian
adventure begins by getting acquainted with our most famous city, the host
of the 2000 Olympic Games, Sydney. We will discover all about this amazing
city from almost every mode of transport and every viewpoint. Included in
the day's activities is a cruise across Sydney's famous Harbour, a visit to
the Sydney Opera House, a climb over the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, a
Monorail journey around the city and a trip to the top of the tallest
building in Australia.
DAY 2 :
Blue Mountains

Your second day in Sydney begins with an excursion to the centrepiece of the
Sydney Olympics. We'll take you to see the 120,000 seat Homebush Stadium and
the Olympic Swimming Complex. From here we'll journey to Australia's most
spectacular mountain ranges, the Blue Mountains for a cable car and train
ride into the heart of this beautiful area travelling with a true blue
Australian family. Bring along your appetite as we dine on an authentic
Aussie Barbecue.
DAY 3 : Port Macquarie
We leave Sydney to travel north on an adventurous drive up the East Coast.
Travel through picturesque National Parks and come face to face with
Australia's native animals, including kangaroos and koalas. The day will end
with some heartstopping off-road driving finishing in Port Macquarie, one of
Australia's original convict settlements.
DAY 4 : Byron Bay
From Port Macquarie we catch a ferry across the Hastings River to Point
Plummer to examine some ancient Aboriginal sites and more beautiful
coastline. We follow the beaches north to Byron Bay, this lands most eastern
point and culturally most diverse section.
DAY 5 : Surfer's Paradise
On waking this morning you partake in another Aussie tradition and try your
hand at learning to Surf or Boogie-Board. Professional instructors will have
you surfing like a champion in no time with easy step by step lessons. We
then continue the journey north to Surfer's Paradise, home of Australia's
most famous beaches where you can hand feed hundreds of wild parrots, enjoy
the long white beaches and shop till you drop.
DAY 6/7 : Gold
Coast
With 300 days of sunshine a year the Gold Coast certainly is a paradise.
Spend the day interacting with marine life, swim with the dolphins or try
your hand at the many rides that Sea World has to offer. Restore your energy
cells this afternoon by lazing on the beach or continue to explore the many
attractions of the Gold Coast. Your 2nd day on the Gold Coast's 40
kilometres of beaches is spent at Dreamworld. Adrenaline rushes and thrills
galore await you at Australia's premier theme park.
DAY 8 : Hervey Bay
Today begins with a visit to Steve Erwin's crocodile farm. Watch the famous
Crocodile Man hand-feed 6 metre monsters in front of your eyes before
continuing north to Hervey Bay, the gateway to Fraser Island.
DAY 9/10 : Fraser Island
We spend 2 funpacked days on a 4WD adventure, exploring Fraser Island, the
largest sand dune island in the world. See amazing wind sculptured sand
dunes, coloured cliffs, rainforests and swim in crystal clear sandy bottom
lagoons. We will also investigate shipwrecks from a time long forgotten.
DAY 11 : Rockhampton
Today we enter the tropical north of Australia and cross the Tropic of
Capricorn. Explore Rockhampton and prepare yourself for the steak of a
lifetime in the heart of Australia's famous cattle country.
DAY 12 : Airlie Beach
We start the day underground at the Etna Caves National Park discovering
the wonders of subterranean formations and animals. Our next stop is Airlie
Beach. An exquisite spot situated between the ocean and the native pine
forests.
DAY 13/14/15 : Whitsunday's
Put on your sea legs as we spend the next three days discovering the
Whitsunday Islands. We will swim, snorkel and sail around these largely
untouched islands and be amazed by the colourful marine life of the worlds
largest coral formations. Do as little or as much as you desire from the
deck of your own personal 5 star taxi around paradise.
DAY 16/17 : Mission Beach
Don't be sad about leaving paradise, it only gets better from here as we
hit the road north again. Travelling via Townsville to Mission Beach where
we spend the night overlooking where the impenetrable rainforest meets the
sandy seashore. Are you ready to get Wet and Wild?...... white water rafting
style? Catch glimpses of the rainforest as you steer your raft through the
rapids and calmer waters of the Tully River. A chance to dry yourself before
a short drive to Cairns.
DAY 18 : Cairns
Today is a chance to re-energise in the tropical city of Cairns. Choose to
either relax by the pool or on a beach, go shopping or let us organise an
activity for you. Visit some of the many attractions which surround Cairns
such as the A.J Hackett Bungy Tower or go A.T.V. riding, Parasailing,
Golfing just to name a few.. Recharge your batteries and ready yourself for
the many more adventures that follow.
DAY 19 :
Cape Tribulation
It is time to bask in the splendour of Australian tropical rainforests and
all they have to offer. We visit Daintree National Park, the world's oldest
surviving tropical rainforest with its amazingly abundant flora and fauna,
gorges, crystal clear streams and waterfalls that plunge into deep blue
swimming holes. Float along on a magnificent river cruise, looking for
crocodiles before continuing on to Cape Tribulation where the rainforest and
ocean meet.
DAY 20 : Cooktown
It's time to leave the 4WD's behind and change your mode of transport.
Mount your steed and get ready to trot down one of Australia's most
beautiful beaches. With the ocean and rainforests as your backdrop swim with
your horse before getting into your 4WD for some off road action on our way
up to Cooktown.
DAY 21 : Cairns
After exploring the historic township of Cooktown we return to Cairns via
some of the most scenic waterfalls, cascades and swimming holes Tropical
Queensland has to offer.
DAY 22 :
Atherton Tabelands
Time to get wet again with an action packed day waterskiing, wakeboarding,
tube riding and jetskiing on Lake Tinaroo as well as taking in the grandeur
of The Atherton Tablelands.
DAY 23 : Kuranda
Lets slow the pace down and have a peaceful day in the mountains
surrounding Cairns.The day starts with a visit to Tjapukai, an Aboriginal
Cultural Theme Park where you can learn how to play the digeridoo and throw
a boomerang. From there we take the Rainforest Skyrail up to the artistic
community of Kuranda where you can obtain some great souvenirs from local
artists. We return back to Cairns on a breathtaking train journey that
meanders down the Great Dividing Range crossing ravines and cascading
waterfalls .
DAY 24/25 : Fitzroy Island
Back to explore the delights of the Great Barrier Reef, and Fitzroy Island.
What better way to see this island than from your sea-kayak as you
circumnavigate it before viewing the myriads of coral, snorkelling and
swimming or just relaxing on the beach.
DAY 26/27/28/29 : Ayers Rock
Have you had enough of the tropical north? Okay lets head into the middle
of this huge land and its desert region. Leaving the 4WD's behind we fly
into the outback city of Alice Springs. Here we join a 3-day safari and take
in the truly outstanding Red Centre.
Day 1 and we will travel
through the James and Waterhouse Ranges to visit the Outback Camel Farm
where you have a chance to ride a camel. We will also explore the wonders of
Kata Tjuta ((Olgas) and hike the Valley of the Winds.
Day 2 and we head on up to
for a closer look at Uluru (Ayers Rock) with the option to climb this mighty
monolith or circumnavigate it's base. We also check out some mysterious rock
formations and Aboriginal Art sites. Later in the day there is a chance to
purchase some aboriginal arts and crafts. Night 2 is spent in King's Canyon.
Stunning sunrises, sunsets and clear starry nights will overwhelm you in
this exceptionally spectacular landscape.
Day 3 and it is time to
climb and explore Kings Canyon and view "The Ampitheatre", "The
Lost City" and the picturesque "Garden of Eden". In the
afternoon we can relax in some serene waterholes before heading back to
Alice Springs.
DAY 30 : Sydney
SydneyYour journey of a lifetime is now over, although we are sure that
your memories will remain. We say our fond farewells after flying back to
Sydney's Kingsford Smith Airport.
