Day 1 : Flinders Ranges
Travel to Flinders Ranges.
Day 2 : Flinders Ranges
Start this adventure aboard your private aircraft and fly up to the
northern Flinders Ranges. After a scenic flight across this dramatic
landscape, your destination for today is Arkaroola. Set amid some of the
oldest terrain on earth, the spectacular ridges and gorges of this region
are home to an abundance of native animals and plants. The remoteness of
this location ensures unique experiences.
This afternoon, it is time to take the famous ‘Ridgetop’ tour.
Your guide will take you along this narrow 4WD track to some of the most
spectacular sights of the Flinders Ranges.
The evening holds even more. Arkaroola is home to an observatory that
offers unbelievable views of the southern skies.
Day 3 : Portee Station
After an overnight stay it is time to start heading south to Portee
Station. This historic homestead is a working sheep station nestled amongst
the River Gums on the beautiful banks of the Murray River and populated by
kangaroos, wombats, emus and water birds.
Day 4 : Kangaroo Island
After a night at Portee Station, you take off again and head for Kangaroo
Island where you will spend a full day of 4WD touring, discovering the
famous coastline and wildlife of the island. Your tour of discovery ends
with a scenic flight back to Adelaide
