The Kimberley coastline offers you an experience that will stay with
you forever. Let the captain share with you the convoluted coves, sheltered
bays, large river systems, unique rock formations and serene aqua marine
waters which will captivate you on this 8 day adventure. During the time you
spend on board the Kimberley Quest you will visit many spectacular place
such as: Strickland Bay, Whirlpool Pass, Horizontal Falls in Talbot Bay,
Sale River, spectacular Montgomery Reef, Prince Regent River and the
magnificent Kings Cascades. There will be many opportunities to catch fresh
fish for the table as well as land sight seeing excursions to many untouched
places. To being or end your Kimberley Quest cruise you will be transferred
via helicopter over the Mitchell Falls. The Kimberley Quest is pictured at

Day 1 : Broome
Arrive to Broome.
Day 2 : Mitchell Plateau
Depart
from Broome on a fixed wing aircraft for a scenic flight to the Mitchell
Plateau. Board the helicopter and fly over the Mitchell Falls to the
Kimberley Quest’s heli-pad in the Hunter River.
Day 3 : Port Nelson
Cruise around to Port Nelson and the ancient Boab tree, first visited in
1820 by the early explorers, then on to St. Georges Basin with its ancient
escarpment.
Day 4 : Kings Cascades Falls
Cruise
through St. Georges Basin to the mighty Prince Regent River and into the
Kings Cascades Falls. Another chance to catch a barramundi for dinner.
Day 5 : Prince Regent River
Stay overnight in the Prince Regent River. Visit Camp Creek for a walk and
a swim.
Day 6 : Sale River
Cruise
to the Sale River and visit the ancient rain forest for a walk and a swim.
Day7 : Montgomery Reef
Visit the spectacular Montgomery Reef and then cruise to the Horizontal
Falls in Talbot Bay
Day 8 : Crocodile Creek
Visit Crocodile Creek for a swim, then on to Silver Gull for a barbeque
lunch. Cruise through the hundred of islands of King Sound and watch the sun
go down over Cape Leveque. Then cruise overnight to Broome.
Day 9 : Broome
Arrive Broome at approx. 08.00 hours. Breakfast at Matso’s after
disembarking the Kimberley Quest.
