In this itinerary we have brought together some of our favorite properties, places, and people, in the sourthern part of Australia. Discover the amazing wildlife of the land down under and more importantly the friendly hospitality that the Aussies are famous for! The Collection of Stations and Homesteads that you will find below are an incredible oppurtunity for you to experience a unique insight into what makes Australia such a treasure.

Day 1,2 : Sydney
Upon arrival in Sydney, you will be transfered to The Westin Sydney. This hotel is part of the gracious General Post Office redevelopment in the center of downtown Sydney. Here you are surrounded by excellent shopping, a vast range of restaurants, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the Darling Harbour. There is plenty on offer for your first day in Australia.Your second day in Sydney provides the opportunity to find out a lot more about the history, and the cultural side of Sydney. "Wild Escapes", your private driver guide will gives you with an educational, and enjoyable journey around your choice of the significant places that make Sydney such a beautiful city, or the magestic Blue Mountains that overlook our "Olympic City". The Sydney Harbour Bridge is waiting for you to climb it!
Day 3,4,5 : Tasmania
This morning you will be transfered to the Sydney airport for your flight to Launceston, Tasmania. Upon arrival in Launceston you will be met by Leon Cooper of TC tours. Leon will transfer you to your accommodation, the grand Calstock Country House. This house, built during the time of the colonials, is now hosted by Ginette and Remi Bancal. Remi is a highly regarded chef both locally, and abroad. So it is no surprise that his culinary skills, and some of the purest produce in the world, make for a dining experience second to none. Your accommodation is nothing short of marvelous. with the room, bed, and bathroom being large, elegant, and regal - just how the Early British Colonists intented. Leon Cooper provides you with an enjoyable, and insightful time into Tasmania's history, people, and its wildlife. Tasmania is literally overflowing with natural beauty, which has not been compromised by excessive numbers of tourists. Leon's friendly and casual approach epitomises the lifestyle on this small island state.

Days 6,7,8 : Flinders Rangers
It's time to farewell this island hideway called Tasmania. Your flight will take you from Launceston, to Adelaide, South Australia, via Melbourne. In Adelaide you will take a private charter flight to Blinman in the Flinders Ranges. Waiting for you at the Blinman airstrip wil be the owners of Angorichina Station, Ian and Di Fargher.

During your stay, you will experience outback hospitality at its finest. Ian and Di provide a pleasant look at life away from the hussle and bussle of the city. Di' s amazing skills in the kitchen provide an excellent taste of country living, and a variety that will astound you. While staying at this lovely family homestead, the ever-smiling Ian will share the history this station, and his family share. The on-property locations for barbeque lunches, and evening drinks at sunset are nothing short of awe inspiring. You will feel like you are standing on top of the world! Dusk wil provide you with the best opportunity to spot the local wildlife, such as kangaroos and wallabies. Perhaps one afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive through the Flinders Ranges that will bring you to the bustling town of Parachilna, population seven! Here you will experience the mecca of "Outback Pubs", The Prairie Hotel. People drive hundreds of miles out of their way to call in for a beer. The Prairie Hotel is where the now famous "Feral Food" originated. This gourmet, outback cuisine, is an absolute must to try. You will be pleasantly surprised!

Day 9,10,11 : Kangaroo Island
This morning Ian and Di will transfer you to the Blinman airstrip for your flight to Adelaide, which connects with a short flight to Kangaroo Island. The owners of Stranraer Homestead, Lynn and Graham Wheaton will be awaiting your arrival at the Kangaroo Island Airport. Lynn and Graham will transfer you to their beautiful property which will be your home for the next three days. The homestead overlooks the rolling fields, and bush, which covers a large percentage of the island. Just down the front of the homestead, the property boasts its own cricket field! If you are there during the cricket season (November to April) you may even witness a game of country cricketon Saturdays! While here Lynn will spoil you with a culinary finesse that would make a five-star resturant chef envious. This, in conjunction with, quite possibly,the freshest produce in the world, makes for a dining experience second-to-none. Kangaroo Island has been described as one of Australia's best kept secrets. The island boasts a wide variety of native flora and fauna in it's natural habitat, unpolluted beaches, and magnificent coastal scenerary. The local wildlife includes penguins, sea lions, wallabies, kangaroos, koalas, tasmanian devils, just to name a few! You will be treated to these specticles by "Adventure Charters", whose guides are knowledgable, and enthusiastic about the natural wonders of this little island they call home. Day 12 : Sydney
Even in this short space of time you would have experienced hospitality at its best with authentic Aussies, and witnessed some of Australia's incredible secrets, that make the land down under the only place to go! Reflect on your on your wonderful experience, and begin planing your next adventure to this remarkable country. Return to Adelaide, for your connecting flight to Sydney, and board your international flight to Los Angeles.
