City of Malbork is located in northern Poland and came up around the mighty castle of Malbork. The famous brick castle in Malbork is considered to be one of the biggest castles in Europe. Founded in 1274, its official name is St. Mary's Castle. This castle was built by the Teutonic Knights, a German military order and is one of the most visited monuments inside Poland.
The castle of Malbork is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monumental pride of Poland got nearly destroyed in the second worldwar. Few restorations have taken place to ensure the mighty castle is preserved in its best possible form. There are many guided tours available to take you around the magnificent castle of Malbork.
