The southern part of Poland is a perfect place for tourists who love mountains. The Polish mountains, Tatry, are special because of the view and skiing. They are one of the oldest mountains in Europe. Another place in the South is the famous city of Krakow, the oldest Polish city. Krakow is famous for the university, which is over 300 years old, making it the oldest university in Poland. In this region, you can also find Wieliczka, the salt mines.
