Royal Castle in Poland is amongst the most beautiful royal houses of Europe in terms of romance. This captivating Castle now also a monument is a mythical place that not only cherished by Cracovians and Poles but also visited by the people around the world. Royal Castle was the royal palace and official residence of the Polish monarchs, located in the Plac Zamkowy in Warsaw, at the entrance to the Old Town. This heritage castle has a rugged history, experiencing the time of both great brilliance and great humiliation. It was once the nerve-centre of the most powerful countries in Europe and later became the dormitory of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Germans had destroyed the Royal Castle in Warsaw during the World War II. First it was bombed in 1939 to terrorize the population. Then the castle went on fire then, and the fire-fighters action has been
difficult, because of these bombings, the castle sustained severe damages. The Castle has been rebuilt in the years 1971-1988 as a national monument of Polish history and culture. Interiors were
meticulously restored using the preserved ruin fragments and the old documents as examples of the original state. Now, the Royal Castle is an important museum about the rich and dramatic history of Poland. It's very interesting from inside. If you are in Warsaw, not to be missed at
